With 15+years of experience in multicultural leadership across the globe, Emilie has witnessed firsthand that diversity is a business opportunity as much as a cultural challenge.
On every diversity journey, she often plays the difficult role of game changer. Having completed $150-million complex transformational programs impacting up to 22 000 employees and managed sensitive stakeholders’ relationships. She currently assists companies on their diversity journey. Her commitment to inclusive leadership helps her clients reinventing their value proposition and improving their performance in being more inclusive.
“The business challenges I’ve managed have always resonated with my diversity journey as a leader. At the age of 26, after a Master’s Degree in International Business and no management experience, I became head of customer service of a transport organisation in France. I led a team of 200 customer service employees. 97% were men and the average age in the division was 43 years old.
My diversity journey started with vulnerability; it was a trial by fire. In a challenging environment, diversity became a leadership belief and, to be honest, a way to survive. However, during my time, the organisation outperformed in 3 main areas of safety, customer experience and profitability.”
